How to Start a Podcast
with Dumi Mabhena
Dumi Mabhena is an MBA candidate at GU and a three-times podcast host. Dumi started Zimbabwean Voices, an interview podcast series that seeks to promote free Zimbabwean media in the face of governmental control. He is also currently working on a startup called Shanda, a web platform that simplifies production for independent podcasters.
At this Car Barn Academy session, Dumi talked about the ideation and implementation of podcasts, and walked students through a hands-on workshop where they recorded, edited, and uploaded a podcast episode.
